Aao Gaon Chalen team visited Sakhwar Ram Krishna Mission Rural Welfare training centre on the 20th of March 20 016. The team comprised of Dr Kaiser Barot, President , Dr Sunita Shanbhag Chairman Aao Gaon Chalen subcommittee,Dr Kedar Deshmukh, Dr Sunita Kshirsagar, Dr Girish lad, and Dr. Farida

A total of 167 patients were examined and treated,

• There were 4 references for tertiary care hospital for further management
• 3 new cases of tuberculosis were identified and treatment started
• 12 old cases of Diabetes and Hypertension were followed up
• 4 new cases of hypertension and 3 cases of severe anaemia were identified and were asked to visit and meet the IMA team on out next visit.
• 15 geriatric cases were seen, 1 had social problem of no one to look after her. She was referred to RKM worker for social support
• Rest of the cases were general symptoms and were treated.

Dr. Ramesh Shah Past President and Dr Kedar Deshmukh Member Aao Gaon Chalen sub Committee visited the RHTC and examined 84 patients both children and adults. 5 cases were referred to higher centers . ? CA breast,? CA Hard thyroid swelling , severe osteo arthritis, Mal- aligned fracture shoulder.

The team also Visited the nearby old age home to explore the possibilities of extending the services.

Team of Doctors from IMA Aao Gaon Chalen Sub- committee Dr Sunita Shanbhag and Dr Kadar Deshmukh visited Sakhwar Rural Health Training Centre on 26th June 2016.
Overall 46 patients were examined. Out of this 6 patients were of Diabetes mellitus, 5 of Hypertension, 1 of depression. 1 renal stones, 1 bad obstetric history, 2 of infertility and one spinal problem and 1 of Asthma.
Rest of the cases were of URTI and fever. Appropriate medication and advice were given to them.

A Team of Doctors from IMA, Mumbai Branchand AaoGaonChalen
Sub-committee, Dr. Indira Sahajwalla, Dr. Dinesh Prabhu, Dr. LataJaitly,
Dr. PrabhaShinde, Dr. RohiniShinde, and Dr. KedarDeshmukh visited the RHTC, Sakwar on the3rdSunday of July , 24 July 2016.
This is a field practice area adopted by IMA Mumbai Branch for implementing their AaonGaonChalen project.
Overall 83 patients both children and adults were examined. 17 patients of Hypertension, 12 Diabetes Mellitus, 10 Diabetes and Hypertension were followed up. In addition cases 6 Osteoarthritis, 4 TineaCruris, 1Thyroid, 1 Lipoma,2 Leucorrhoeah,3 ? Kochsand 2 Nutritional Anemia were seen. Remaining acute cases of URTI, UTI, Stye, Pain Abdomen, and Bronchial Asthma were examined and given due treatment. 2 cases were referred to higher center for further management.
